The initial stage of the Gaza ceasefire agreement is now in effect. This development is part of a 20-point plan proposed by the U.S. administration, which includes a call for the demilitarization of Gaza. The agreement specifies that there will be no involvement of Hamas or other armed groups in the future governance of the region.
