The United States Central Command, known as Centcom, has issued a formal denial regarding reports of fatalities occurring on the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln. The military command addressed several claims circulating through various media outlets concerning the safety and welfare of personnel stationed on the vessel during its current deployment to the Middle East.

According to Middle East Eye, the military leadership utilised social media to clarify that no service members have died on the carrier. One specific report had alleged that seven sailors were killed during a physical altercation on board. The military did confirm one recent safety incident involving a crew member. On August 3, a sailor fell overboard from the USS Abraham Lincoln. However, the command noted that the individual was recovered quickly and safely. This event appears to be the only significant safety incident confirmed by officials during this period of the ship's deployment.
