British boxer Anthony Joshua has issued a formal statement following a car accident in Lagos, Nigeria, where two of his close associates, Latif Ayodele and Sina Ghami, tragically lost their lives. Joshua, who was a passenger in the vehicle, sustained minor injuries during the incident.

The accident occurred when the vehicle, in which Joshua was traveling, collided with a stationary truck. The incident resulted in the fatalities of Ayodele and Ghami. The driver, Adeniyi Mobolaji Kayode, has been charged with multiple offenses, including dangerous driving causing death, and the case is scheduled to continue on Tue, Feb 25, 2024.
