These individuals include senior commanders from both the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF). The sanctions list also includes three foreign nationals accused of recruiting fighters and facilitating the acquisition of military equipment for the conflict. Notable individuals named in the sanctions are former RSF commander Abu Aqla Mohamed Kaikal, RSF field commander Hussein Barsham, and RSF financial adviser Mustafa Ibrahim Abdel Nabi Mohamed.
