The Central African Republic is preparing for its upcoming general election scheduled for Sun, Dec 28, 2025. The country's electoral authority, supported by the MINUSCA peacekeeping force, is conducting training for over a thousand polling workers in the commune of Bimbo.
The training aims to ensure the transparency and integrity of the voting process. The president of the National Electoral Authority branch in Bimbo, Dieu Aimé Ndozou Mougbia, stated, "We are currently training people and then we will identify a polling station president, first assessor, second assessor, third assessor, and fourth assessor. Their role is to guide voters and ensure that the vote runs smoothly."
