Davido Denies Prior Knowledge of Hushpuppi Fraud Activities

Nigerian music star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has spoken publicly about his past relationship with Ramon Abbas, the social media personality convicted in the United States for internet fraud.

According to Daily Trust, Adeleke made the comments regarding his previous connection to Abbas, who operated under the name Hushpuppi. The disclosure comes long after the conclusion of legal proceedings against the former influencer.

Abbas received a sentence of 135 months in prison from a court in California on 3 November 2022. The term equates to 11 years and three months. The court also imposed additional orders as part of the judgment.
