Ekiti Voters Will Choose Leaders Not Godfathers

Otunba Olumuyiwa Babalola was reacting to comments made by Dr Wole Oluyede of the Peoples Democratic Party. Oluyede had claimed that the ADC had no place in the forthcoming Ekiti gubernatorial contest.
Babalola described the statement as an expression of old-style politics that felt threatened by new political forces. He maintained that the era when a few influential figures dictated electoral outcomes had passed.
