Ghana's Statistical Service Reports Decline in Multidimensional Poverty Rate
The Ghana Statistical Service has reported a decline in the country's multidimensional poverty rate for the third consecutive quarter. This index evaluates deprivation across various sectors including health, education, living conditions such as access to clean water and sanitation, and employment.
According to the latest data, the poverty rate decreased from 23.9% in the first quarter of 2025 to 21.9% in the third quarter, indicating a consistent nationwide improvement.
