The Union acknowledged the positive steps taken in the implementation of the Political Transition Roadmap in Guinea, culminating in the presidential election on Sat, Dec 28, 2025.
Former junta leader Mamady Doumbouya was congratulated by the Union for his election victory. Doumbouya was sworn in as president in a public ceremony attended by supporters.
