The opposition party PDCI-RDA in Ivory Coast has raised concerns regarding the alleged unauthorized collection of voters' personal data by individuals associated with the ruling RHDP party. The data reportedly includes names, phone numbers, voter card details, and polling station information.
Furthermore, these activities are reportedly linked to promises of monetary rewards up to 300,000 CFA francs and the distribution of motorcycles, purportedly to sway voter decisions.

The ruling RHDP party has not issued any comments in response to these accusations. Meanwhile, the Independent Electoral Commission (CEI) has clarified that it remains neutral in disputes between political parties and advises affected parties to pursue legal action through the courts if necessary.
The PDCI has also expressed concerns about the reported disappearance of over 25,000 voter cards in the Port-Bouët constituency. In response, the CEI has assured that the cards have been accounted for, reissued, and will be accessible on election day.
Over 8.7 million voters are expected to participate in the upcoming elections scheduled for Saturday, Dec 27, 2024, to elect 255 members of parliament.
