On Mon, Oct 23, 2023, Kenya’s Prime Cabinet Secretary, Musalia Mudavadi, held a meeting with Egyptian Foreign Affairs Minister, Badr Abdelatty, in Nairobi. The discussions focused on enhancing bilateral relations and strengthening trade and investment ties between the two countries.
Prime Cabinet Secretary Mudavadi emphasized Kenya's commitment to supporting Africa-led, dialogue-based approaches within the framework of the Nile Basin Initiative to address water scarcity issues. Minister Abdelatty highlighted the importance of promoting cooperative solutions that are mutually beneficial.

The meeting also underscored the significance of encouraging private-sector partnerships, diversifying trade products, and expediting the establishment of a Joint Business Council to foster shared prosperity.
