The Mattei Plan: Transition from Aid to Investment
The summit evaluates the progress of the Mattei Plan, initiated in 2024, which aims to transition from traditional aid to investment-led cooperation. The initiative encompasses nearly 100 projects across 14 African countries, focusing on key sectors such as energy, infrastructure, agriculture, and digital development. These efforts are designed to create economic opportunities and reduce irregular migration.
