The city of Ksar El Kebir, located approximately 100 kilometers south of Tangier, has experienced significant flooding. Evacuees have been accommodated by relatives in different locations, while those needing assistance have been housed in temporary shelters arranged by local authorities.
The national weather service has predicted heavy rains, strong winds, and snowfall at altitudes above 1,500 meters from Mon, Oct 9, 2023, to Wed, Oct 11, 2023, affecting several provinces.
