On Tuesday, King Mohammed VI and Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan participated in the foundation stone-laying ceremony for a new aircraft engine complex in Nouaceur, near Casablanca. This facility is established by the Safran Group from France and will be part of the Midparc aerospace platform.
The new complex will include assembly and testing facilities dedicated to Safran engines. It will also feature a maintenance unit specifically for the advanced LEAP engine models.
Industry Minister Ryad Mezzour highlighted Morocco's position as a global hub for high-tech industries, attributing this status to ongoing reforms and training initiatives led by King Mohammed VI.
