Renovations at Grand Stade d'Agadir for 2025 Africa Cup of Nations

The Grand Stade d'Agadir is set to host significant matches during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco. Notable teams such as Egypt, Cameroon, and South Africa will compete on this venue's pitch. In preparation for this major event, the surrounding areas and spaces of the Stade Adrar d'Agadir have undergone extensive renovations and modernization.

The improvements to the stadium have been focused on enhancing its aesthetics and exterior appeal. These changes are expected to attract a large number of fans. According to the official overseeing the renovation, the Stade d'Agadir has received a complete overhaul. This process was aligned with the standards set by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and included enhancements to the stadium's exterior, training pitches, technical and sanitary facilities, and the accreditation system for visitors, journalists, and players, in addition to the changing rooms. These renovations also comply with FIFA requirements.
