Nigeria President Requests Review of Capital Territory Budget

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has written to Nigeria's Senate requesting a review of the 2024 budget for the Federal Capital Territory.

The letter was read during a plenary session by the Deputy President of the Senate, Barau Jibrin, who presided over proceedings. According to Daily Trust, the communication highlighted that some critical projects had not been included in the initial budget approved by the legislature.
