Royal Air Maroc, a member of the Oneworld Alliance, will initiate the first direct flight from Africa to Los Angeles. The service will commence on Fri, Jun 7, 2024, operating three times a week from Casablanca.
This new route addresses the increased demand in anticipation of the FIFA World Cup, co-hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada, beginning on Tue, Jun 11, 2024.
The initiative marks a significant expansion of Royal Air Maroc's long-haul network in North America. The airline currently services destinations including New York, Washington, Miami, Montreal, and Toronto.

The Los Angeles route will be operated using Boeing 787 aircraft. Ticket sales will begin on Mon, Dec 4, 2023.
