The Senegalese Football Federation has confirmed that it will not contest the sanctions imposed by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) following the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. The sanctions include both sporting and financial penalties.
The disciplinary measures were enacted in response to events during Senegal's match against Morocco in January, where disruptions occurred after a Senegalese goal was disallowed. Head coach Pape Thiaw instructed players to leave the pitch, resulting in a 14-minute halt in the game.

The federation has stated its intention to cover all fines levied on its technical staff and players.
