Zizi Kodwa, who was the Minister for Sports and Arts in 2024, was accused of accepting $85,000 in bribes related to contracts for software systems maintenance in Johannesburg. Charges were initially withdrawn by local prosecutors due to low prospects of a successful prosecution.
