Pakistan has secured a place in the Super Eights of the 2026 T20 World Cup following a decisive victory over Namibia by 102 runs on Wednesday, Feb 18, 2026, at the Sinhalese Sports Club Ground in Colombo.
Electing to bat first, Pakistan scored 199-3. Sahibzada Farhan achieved his first T20 international century, remaining unbeaten on 100 off 58 balls. Usman Tariq recorded his best bowling figures with 4-16.
The win ensured Pakistan's progression to the Super Eights, while Namibia faced their third consecutive defeat in the group stage. The tournament is hosted in India and Sri Lanka.
Farhan has now scored five T20 centuries in both domestic and international cricket since early 2025. His century in this match makes him only the second Pakistani to achieve a T20 World Cup century, following Ahmed Shehzad in 2014.

Namibia's chase faltered despite a promising start from opener Louren Steenkamp, who scored 23. Pakistan's bowling attack, led by spinners Shadab Khan (3-19) and Usman Tariq, ensured Namibia was dismissed for 97 runs.
Pakistan omitted pace bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi for this match, following his previous performance.
Pakistan will face New Zealand on Sunday, Feb 22, 2026, in Colombo as they continue in the Super Eights stage.
