In addition to Nile State, other regions such as Blue Nile, Al Jazirah, and Khartoum have also experienced significant flooding. The Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation had previously identified six states, including Gezira State and Khartoum, as being at high risk for Nile flooding this year.
