The airstrikes occurred on December 4, targeting a kindergarten and the adjacent Kalogi Rural Hospital, as documented by the WHO’s Attacks on Health Care monitoring system. In addition to the fatalities, 35 individuals sustained injuries.
According to WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the Kalogi hospital was hit at least three times. Survivors were subsequently transferred to Abu Jebaiha Hospital, where medical teams urgently requested blood donations and additional supplies. There were also reports of attacks on paramedics and first responders during the evacuation of injured children from the kindergarten.

Appeal for Ceasefire and Humanitarian Access
