Nigeria signs US grant to expand fibre optic network

However, uneven infrastructure development continues to limit broadband availability, particularly outside major urban centres such as Lagos and Abuja. Fibre optic cables form the backbone of modern telecommunications, enabling faster data transmission than traditional copper networks.
