Ugandan Bank CFO Claims Two Honours at Finance Awards

PostBank Uganda’s chief financial officer has won two top honours at the annual Chief Financial Officer Awards, which celebrate excellence in Uganda’s finance sector.

The awards, which concluded in October 2025, recognise leaders who demonstrate exceptional skill and innovation in financial management. Peter Ssenyange secured both the CFO of the Year accolade and the Sustainability Award.

The event highlights the growing importance of sustainable practices within Uganda’s banking industry. PostBank, a government-owned institution focused on expanding financial inclusion across the country, has increasingly emphasised environmental and social governance in its operations.
